To get your Georgia barber license, you must pass two tests and pay several fees after completing an apprenticeship or a barber program.
You have to take a practical and written exam. After your training, you can contact the testing administrator, PSI Services, to schedule your exam.
The written exam lasts 90 minutes and costs $59 to take. The practical exam lasts and costs $89 to take. Taking the tests together costs $147.
On the exam day, you should arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled testing time and bring two forms of valid, signature-bearing ID with you. One must have a photo.
