Education Details

Barbering programs are fairly specialized when compared to many other types of cosmetology programs. Rather than learning a little bit about many different parts of the field, you learn solely about services provided to men. This includes facial hair—you may discover proper shaving techniques, find out how to shave and trim facial hair, and use products to keep it smooth and soft. The rest of your curriculum may focus on the hair care needs of men. This involves learning about different cutting tools and techniques. Your instructors may even cover working with men who have thinning or balding issues.
