Why cut hair if you only use numbers went in for a regular haircut and she said we only use numbers what number is it she asked

I got a zero fade, which is advertised to be 30 dollars, but the older lady said since my hair was longer, I had to pay 37.76. She did not adjust the chair and had me bend my neck the entire haircut, which took like 35 mins. Do no get scammed!!!
