I went to Makeup Designory in 2018-2019 and it was truly the best experience I could ever wish for. It was the first time I loved going to school and learning about something I am so passionate about. I did the Fashion Makeup Artistry Program which was 392 clock hours. I had Lisa, J Sterling, and Meredith as my amazing teachers! We were taught everything between artistry to sanitation to even how to network. MUD set me up for success as a Makeup Artist. I now am working as a bicoastal Makeup Artist in Los Angeles and New York. My work has had multiple publishes and I have been in some amazing rooms doing what I love all thanks to MUD. I would recommend this school to any artist who is passionate about their craft and wants to learn from the pros! I still am in contact with my teachers from MUD and I love visiting Makeup Designory as an Alumni. This week I actually plan on visiting the Burbank MUD location! I attended in 2019, and have had and continue to have a great experience with this school! I loved my program and felt the teachers were top-notch and very invested in the students. My education continues with incredible resources, workshops, seminars, and photoshoots all provided by the school. I love MUD!

MUD's New York campus occupies the fifteenth floor of the historic American Express building in the city's Financial District, just steps away from Wall Street, Stone Street eateries, and the Battery Park waterfront area.
Students can choose from comprehensive programs in fashion makeup artistry, film and television makeup artistry, multimedia makeup artistry, and master makeup artistry. Given the broad range of programs, students are taught beauty basics and character and special makeup effects. They'll also have access to career advising, a robust alumni network, and ongoing MUD Talks with established makeup artists. Students can also take smaller individual courses too.
