Located in Austin's vibrant South Lamar area, Baldwin Beauty School's South campus also offers a range of programs, including cosmetology, esthetics, manicures, and student instruction. The school has a full-service student salon that gives students access to real-world customers as part of their training.
The family-run school also frequently participates in local events and community projects, lending students access to some of the top salons, spas and beauty businesses in the city. "At Baldwin, I felt recognized. I felt important. Today, I have clients. I have confidence. I have a great education," says alumnus Ricky, who now owns his own salon thanks to the foundation he built at Baldwin.
