I took my daughter here to try it out. She has really thick hair and we have had just as much luck with the schools as we have with expensive salons. She loves the place we were using but they have really limited hours and it is a challenge to go there during the school year so we tried this place. They do have evening hours which is very nice. Scheduling was easy and they sent links for docs they needed since she is a minor. No problem - all easy except it wasn't super clear who to put where on the form, so we had to do it again when we got there on a paper form. Not a big deal. I was able to go back with my daughter for the consultation only and then back to sit in the front waiting area with comfy chairs. The place was nice and clean. We did almost get run over by one of the students leaving with her roll cart. She wasn't slowing down for anyone. Everyone else was friendly enough though. The student listened and did what we asked but when she styled it, she made my daughter look like Will from Stranger Things with a mega bowl cut. I have cut plenty of hair and could tell the cut was fine so we had a good laugh and I took her home and showed her how to style it so it would flip out. it looks super cute. Here is where I had a small issue. They do not take cash at all AND then they tell you they are going to keep your card on file when you are checking out. I called back later and left a message asking if they could take my card out of the system. I did get a call back from Jessica, the campus director, and she explained that they do offer that as an option to make it easy for clients that come in often. She also explained that it is needed for online appointment setting. We had called to set the appointment so I wasn't aware of that requirement She was very sweet and was able to remove my card from being kept on file. Overall, the experience for services was nice and the follow up was very satisfactory. They really do want you to have a great experience. I will have to check into some other services based on their other reviews.
