Ann Webb Skin Institute first caught my attention in 2018. I had the pleasure of working with a couple of girls who graduated from the esthetician course and would offer services to the employees on our team. I enjoyed learning about healthy skincare and their experiences at Ann Webb. This school has earned a great reputation among the beauty community as the “Harvard” of beauty colleges. So, naturally my curiosity lead me to learn more about the school. They offer esthetician classes and cosmetology classes as well as, advanced classes such as, body contouring, micro needling, eyelash extensions to name a few. The founders are so humble, they have earned all these great things that’s said about them from the students. Fast forward to now, 2025 and I was so excited to find they added a cosmetology course to their curriculum!! The administration and instructors genuinely want us to succeed. They are nationally accredited and accept government grants for funding but, they also will work with you no matter your circumstances. The founders went above and beyond to make sure they put the absolute best and experienced instructors to lead us. I already hold a nail technician license and from personal experience, I’ve learned that when you find someone who is willing to share their knowledge with you it’s a blessing. They are teaching us how to do things that are only possible with experience. The thing that sets them apart from other schools around the Austin area is, they prepare us to be business owners, a real “business baddie”. Learning how to use social media and technology for marketing strategies is encouraged. When I initially began the process to sign up, I admit I was a little nervous because I am older than the “usual” age group. After my first day, all that went away. The people who attend school here vary greatly and it’s reassuring to me that I found the right place to learn and grow. I’ve seen everyone always smiling and welcoming. The whole vibe is so positive and refreshing. If that’s not enough then what if I said, by the time I graduate from cosmetology, I will hold 11 certificates in various beauty brands and products. 🤯🙏 The instructor plans field trips for the class to get us out in the field to network with other businesses professionals. I can’t say enough great things about my experience so far. I’m so happy this school exists and that I’m able to attend. I tell everyone who will listen to me, lol, this is your sign to work on improving yourself. It’s never “too late.” GOD BLESS.

Kara at Ann Webb Skin Institute gave me an outstanding facial today! As a student aesthetician, she’s already a pro—my skin feels refreshed, glowing, and deeply hydrated. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience relaxing. Highly recommend Kara for anyone looking for top-notch skincare!
