I went to this school years ago. And it was a horrible experience. Kendra the director had me lie to customers about being a senior when I wasn't. Being very young I felt intimated by dishonesty from the director of the school. Another experience I had, I was oked by the director Kendra, Kim the financial lady, and Susan another person for business acounts, to go on a 1 week vacation. They give you an alotted time when you start the school, for vacation time. I was personally given 6 weeks. I took a week to visit my dieing grandmother in Arizona. And again this visit was cleared by all the individuals who run the school. They looked up my account and said, oh yeah you have time still. Go head and go it'll be fine. So I get back from my vacation and they literally made a big deal infront of the whole school, telling me I used all my time and they where kicking me out. In other word we are taking the rest of your money that financial aid gave you to go to the school. Which was about 10 thousand dollars. Because in our agreement you signed, you agreed to not go over your 6 week leave time or they will let you go and keep whatever money have left. Now me not understanding how this could happen, when I clearly ask them before leaving if I had time left. And they said I did. With how quickly they pull students in to there school, if financial aid is covering them. It all started to become clear to me. I had been seeing them let people go for diffrent reason. This school is great at being a scam. It's horrible to see that in a school who is supposed to be there to support you through this journey of you deciding to take with them. Is a total scam. Anyways it was a horrible experience and a horrible school to go to. I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!!!

I went there yesterday to get my hair roots done. When I went in there my hair was horrible. I had short hair all around my hairline from overlapping bleach and the bleach never getting washed out all the way when I got home. I had Bad banding and my roots looked like 10 weeks to 5 1/2 weeks because the hair dressers never did it evenly ( thanks Smart Style Medford and Smart Style Eagle Point .) Anyway, I went here and literally everyone was really nice and helpful. The teachers really do their job and help the students. I've been going to beauty schools off and on since I was 15 and this was the most professional one I have been in. They might charge extra if they have more to fix but they will keep you there for hrs with your permission if that's what it takes to get your hair back to normal, the way you want it. They are honest and upfront about the prices. They won't push you to get anything that you don't want. Literally these students and teachers and this place in general is more competent than most hair salons I have been to and I've been all over the country going anywhere from budget salons to high end ones to beauty schools. Unlike a lot of beauty schools, they create a nonjudgmental, safe , thriving learning environment for students and help them build not just valuable trade skills but Confidence to feel that they can. If you're sick of rude ,catty salons and want something better, look no further. I have PTSD and lost my son last fall and am also homeless and was worried about being triggered and crying like I usually do when I go out and managed to get through several hrs of my hair being done without my service dog (that I decided to not bring for the 1rst visit ) without feeling too overwhelmed or triggered which never happens honestly since I lost my son but there i actually felt normal as I could feel and zero judgement. They completely evened out and fixed my hair and only charged $80 when a color correction service would normally cost well over $100. I really appreciate you guys . This place is great! I needed a haircut and they were able to get me booked for a next day appt. Super friendly at check in upon arrival, even though I was about 3 min late. My cut was with Orinda and she was fantastic. I showed her pictures as we talked she pretty much instantly knew what I was going for. She truly listened to what I wanted, was very thorough and didn't rush which I personally loved. I ended up leaving with exactly what I had pictured for myself! Bobby the instructor was great and really nice as well. I will definitely be returning. Thanks again for the wonderful experience, y'all are awesome!
