I really wish I had done more research before signing up for these cosmetology classes. Unfortunately, the way students are treated here is very disappointing. Students are asked to take out the building’s trash and even act as interpreters during bilingual classes because the owner does not hire a professional interpreter. Instead, she uses students to translate for the English-speaking teacher, which feels completely inappropriate. When it comes to class schedules, earned titles, and the lessons we are supposed to receive, the owner is rarely present and very disorganized. She is often unprofessional, and the teachers do not seem focused on truly teaching. To make matters worse, I have overheard the owner making negative comments about students—saying she doesn’t like them or that they complain—while ignoring the poor quality of the program she is running. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied and cannot recommend this school. Do your research and make sure you fully understand what you’re signing up for before choosing this place.

Incredible I came to My Angle after a horrible hair experience in desperate need of help before an event. 6 women gathered round and problem solved. They were kind, encouraging, honest, and truly cared about helping me and keeping my hair safe.... I had given up on keeping my hair safe I just wanted to fix my problem. Words can not describe how thankful I am. I will be coming here from now on. They know what they are doing and they care!

BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER🤩 I received an eyelash extension service here at MyrAngel Beauty Institute Charlotte, by Veronica! And let me just say that she was BEYOND AMAZING, from start to finish! Veronica provided me with an in depth consultation that included a predisposition test for the eyelash extension glue secondary to my latex allergy. For she had ALL the tools and supplies to accommodate my specific needs! Nevertheless, Veronica’s application was seamless gentle and relaxing. And most importantly her sanitation and infection control before during and after my service was Top Teir!!! I’m very satisfied with my service and the experience that I had while at this cosmetology school. I’ll definitely be back!!!! 🤗🫶🏾

The cosmetology program is 1,500 hours, which takes 12 to 15 months of full-time or 15 to 18 months of part-time study. They also offer beginner, advanced, and bilingual courses. Each class includes the materials you need, and the hours are flexible.
At MyrAngel, you can even get a scholarship. The school awards 20 scholarships of between $3,000 and $5,000 to students who qualify.
