I had an amazing experience today with De’Asia! Not only was she attentive, caring and intentional during my whole appointment, she made time and space to answer my questions, to inform me about my hair and also check in and let me know each step of the way of my hair process. I got my starter locs today and I’m so glad she did them. She was also intentional about getting my pronouns right as a trans person, and corrected herself and others with care. She made the process of getting my hair done enjoyable and did an amazing job!!! I left feeling cared for, confident and my hair lookin good! Go see her if you can! Also the standard of cleanliness and care and attention to detail was high at the school overall! Will return! 🫶🏾

IM BLOW AWAY!!! I recently got a silk press, trim, and deep conditioning treatment from AZ at the beauty school, and she did an incredible job. She was gentle, knowledgeable, and very attentive to my natural hair from start to finish. The deep condition left my hair soft and hydrated, the trim was precise without taking off too much, and the silk press came out silky, smooth, and full of movement. AZ clearly takes pride in her work and makes sure you leave feeling confident. I highly recommend her!

I have to give a huge shoutout to Lexy at Empire — she is AMAZING! You can tell right away how passionate she is about hair and how much she cares about doing what’s best for your hair’s health. She always takes the time to explain what she’s about to do and even recommends products that actually work for my hair. She’s super attentive, always checking in to make sure I’m good, and she’s just really easy to talk to and be around. The vibe is always great. And let’s talk about the results — she SLAYS my hair every single time! My first visit I got a silk press and it was laid to the gods! My hair was so smooth, shiny, and bouncy. If you’re looking for someone who knows their stuff and genuinely cares, definitely book with Lexy. You won’t be disappointed! 💕
