This is easily one of the best academic institutions I've ever been a part of. Every single staff member is beyond friendly and helpful — genuinely, actively rooting for your success. From the start I've felt nothing but supported and cared for here, and I'm so thankful I got to meet the people I did. They take everything seriously and are deeply dedicated to safety and to keeping the environment welcoming. Thanks to them, my relationship with education has been forever changed for the better.

Before coming to Irene’s Myomassology Institute, I was already working as a caregiver for many years, helping people through compassion and daily care. But when I attended my first Public Massage Class at Irene’s, something truly clicked inside me. I felt warmth, kindness, passion, and a sense of community that immediately made me feel I was exactly where I was supposed to be. Since joining the Summer 2025 cohort, this journey has become one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. Every instructor brought something unique and valuable to the classroom. Dana inspired me with her knowledge, kindness, and ability to create a welcoming learning environment. Bil brought incredible energy, support, humor, and real-life experience that made classes memorable and engaging. Rob’s lectures always encouraged deeper thinking and understanding, while Nikki’s Hands-On classes helped build confidence, awareness, and connection through touch. Beth’s Professional Development classes reminded us that massage therapy is not only about technique, but also about heart, ethics, and human connection. What makes Irene’s special is not only the education itself, but the people. The instructors, staff, clinic supervisors, classmates, and even the atmosphere of the building create a community where students truly support each other. I never felt like just another student there. Working in the Student Clinic has also been an incredible experience that helped me grow both professionally and personally. Every client interaction taught me something valuable, and the support from the clinic staff gave me confidence to continue developing my skills. Now, as I prepare for an interview for an apprenticeship opportunity at Irene’s, I realize this is another example of how deeply this place has become part of my life and future. Instead of feeling ready to leave after graduation, I find myself wanting to continue learning, helping, growing, and staying connected with the amazing people who made this journey so meaningful to me. Irene’s helped me realize that massage is much more than a career path. It is listening through touch, helping people heal, feel safe, and feel cared for. I am deeply grateful for this journey and proud to be part of the Irene’s community. Over the past year, I’ve shared many moments from my journey at Irene’s on my Facebook and Instagram … from classes and clinic experiences to special events, instructors, classmates, and everyday memories that made this place feel like a second home.
