OMGoodness! It’s a great place to come and do all kind of things with your hair, for a fraction of a price!! Been coming here to do highlights for years, always have an awesome experience! Today I had Dakota Bauernfeind 😍 to do full head of blond highlights! To say that she was simply AMAZING, is not enough! She is super talented, knowledgable and fast, a true Artist of her trade! My best friend is a stylist and has done my hair for the past 13 years. I have followed her all over Nashville to/from multiple salons, but she recently moved to Knoxville. I’ve been to Image Maker before, when a neighbor of mine about to graduate the program and asked for friends to make appointments with her. I took a chance and wasn’t thrilled with the result then. So when Kylei shared that she was going through the same program and that she was able to take clients, I made an appointment. Kylei asked what I was wanting to do, but I don’t know the “right” terminology for things, so I asked my best friend what she does and passed it along to Kylei. I told her I don’t like brassy blonde, I like the cooler blonde colors and I am a low-maintenance girl who only comes to the salon two or three times a year, so I need a root smudge to help with grow out, etc. Kylei responded “oh, ok! I know exactly what she means. I can definitely do that!” I went into my appointment hopeful, but a little wary just because it’s a school where everyone is still learning. I have known and LOVED Kylei for many years (see attached pics😍) but I’ll be totally honest and say I went in prepared that my results might not be totally perfect… …which was completely unnecessary because SHE NAILED IT! I was blown away. She’s only been in school since when?!? I’m GENUINELY IMPRESSED at how amazing she did! I texted my bestie a photo and she said “oh wow! She did awesome!” Kylei walked me through the process as she went, making sure I was comfortable. There were several other students in the salon that day who kept coming by to compliment her work. I LOVE my hair, but I LOVE Kylei even more and am SO PROUD that my sweet flower girl is all grown up, making her way in the world and doing incredible things!! Love you, sweetheart. ❤️ I know I am family, but I feel I’ve been honest and will wholeheartedly praise everything you EVER do and beg people to come trust you with their hair any day of the week!! 😘 P.S. Kylei styled my hair super cute that day also told me that the salon charges a MINIMAL amount just to style? She said people come in all the time to get their hair shampooed and styled for a date or other event and it costs about the same as you would pay for a drive through meal. I’m never attempting to curl (fail at curling) my hair ever again. I’ll see you soon, ImageMaker/Kylei!!

The Image Maker Beauty Institute is an utterly unique school. On Facebook, Savannah Yates says, "This school is such an amazing school! The staff and instructors are always so helpful and are there with you every step of the way! I felt very prepared for my state board exams and working the workplace!"
The cosmetology program includes 1,500 hours of classroom and practical learning, including haircutting, coloring, styling, relaxing, manicuring, pedicuring, skin care, and business management. Classes are available three days (full-time) or two days (part-time) per week.
Unlike other schools, learning at Image Maker is about forming life-long friendships. Courses include DVD presentations, demonstrations, textbook assignments, and lectures. Activities may include industry trade shows, guest speakers, and group projects.
