Looks like someone tried to take my "colorful" review down so I will keep it short this time. Don't go to this "institute". Just don't. It's a waste of time and resources. The one who runs this school is not in this field for the right reasons. Many former students have withdrawn (myself included) and have had a hard time to get the hours we earned. Yes this "institute" is withholding something that NOT theirs. You can order something for $20 on Amazon and still get WAY better customer service than spending thousands here. Pictured are the most decent mannequin heads you will find for practice there. Contact me for more I have the receipts.
Updated: please don’t make things up. My schedule has never “ever changing”. You asked me to pay $800 which was never in contract or negotiated after refused to accept the mentor that I found after you couldn’t land anyone with you “excellency”. Next time a paying client (many actually) complains about the service you provide and take pride in, listen to them for once and improve it rather than telling them how great you think your service is. Its basic business.
Apparently they have changed their name and location. This school has changed their location many times all over Nashville. No reputable school would do this unless they are trying to hide something. Students beware!

I wrote a review on my other account, but I want to make sure everyone who needs to see this sees this.
DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL.... THEY ARE MONEY HUNGRY AND ONLY WANT YOU FOR YOUR MONEY. You will not learn anything, I promise. Please don't waste your time nor money... Trust me. The director of the school is not in this for the right reasons at all... everything is about money... I know I keep saying that, but I'm telling you I'm not lying. Trust me

Let me start off by saying that for years I put off going to school for cosmetology because I thought that it was for girls and that I should just be a barber . Everyone has been extremely welcoming and communicative throughout the entire process of my learning and apprenticeship. I want to thank everyone for honestly changing my life and helping me find my calling . Ms. Banks in particular for being the sweetest most helpful and caring teacher I’ve ever had . I am certain I am where I’m supposed to be and if it wasn’t for the apprenticeship program I probably would’ve never finished . No other school offers it and it is a big big deal and a life changer when you want to get in the industry . Thank all of you so much GBI family !!!!

Editor's Description
The Global Beauty and Barber Institute has it all when it comes to education in beauty. On Google, Gold Yard comments, "I think this is an excellent school, because of my experience today in the student salon."
The programs are easy to complete in three to 10 months, and the school is now offering online hybrid experiences for all courses.
The cosmetology program is 1,500 hours of theory and practical application study. You learn cutting, coloring, styling, nails, skin care, and business management.
You can also choose between their esthetics or medical aesthetics programs. The foundational esthetics course is 750 hours, while the medical program adds another 450 hours of medical training for a total of 1,225 hours of study.
The 1,500-hour barber course teaches you how to use clippers, razors, and other techniques. The 600-hour nail technician course focuses on nail artistry, wraps, gel nails, tips, and more. In addition, the instructor courses are available for cosmetology, esthetics, barbering, and nail technology.
If you want to further your career, you can also take other supplemental courses, such as a 16-hour hair braiding class or the 200-hour makeup artist course.
