This school is owned by selfish, evil people who purposefully opened a trade school without teachers or any staff at all in a low income area with the intent to scam students seeking betterment who won't have access to money or resources to sue them for the shameful practices they keep and the disgusting way they treat paying students. I was pressured and coerced into enrolling by a director who is a felon with no history in cosmetology, not even a regular practicing license let alone a teaching license, because the owners are too cheap to background check. There were no teachers working at the school the entire time I was enrolled. In 6 months, the group of students I enrolled with never had one singular class, one demonstration, one test, nothing. We sat in a room on our phones or reading silently from the textbook with no staff present. The only times staff were present in the school, they instigated fights among students, including this schools "director" even purposefully trying to provoke teenage girls with obvious mental health issues to go start physical fights with other students by attacking them. When I reported them to state boards for this, they terminated my enrollment, falsified a police report against me, and the financial aid director Faith Weaver physically assaulted me in the street outside of the school by attempting to choke me to prevent me from leaving. The best thing BFBA could do for the community is close. Anna and Gerald Camp have made themselves a fortune by scamming and taking advantage of people seeking meaningful education and opportunities, and I know truer than any other fact that Anna is burning in hell and that once her husband joins her there, the world will be a better place for it. An absolute waste of money. No leadership, sub-par training (basically no training), a hostile atmosphere, and zero concern when problems are brought to their attention. Empire or Bella Capella are much better choices, even if you have to drive a little further.

Honestly this whole school was a joke. From the owners to the teachers. There were like 2 decent teachers when I left but since they couldn’t keep any staff I was in a room just to do whatever and teach myself for the first 6 months. They went through multiple directors while I was there one stole a bunch of money from a lot of us. We did get it back eventually after my friend took them to court the owner called me up and asked for an apology. Eventually she apologized to me and paid every one their money. But after that a teacher told me they were trying to terminate me. I didn’t get terminated but I warn you this was my whole experience every month was something new there. They also wrote us checks for the left over finical aide money but wrote it for a lot more (about $2000) and made us cash it and bring cash back or a cashiers check.

The mission of the BEAVER FALLS BEAUTY ACADEMY is to train and prepare its students for the State Board Licensing Examinations and to assist its graduates in securing employment in the field of cosmetology. By maintaining high educational standards, the school assures every student a solid basic education in every facet of cosmetology. During the entire educational process, care is exercised to respect creative abilities while developing and encouraging artistic growth. Students are introduced to the current trends as they are released and presented to the beauty field. They are properly trained in the effective use of all tools of the trade. In essence, students are qualified to meet a complete set of professional criteria. They develop the skills, tact, and performance demanded by clientele and learn to perform in accordance with all state rules and regulations, those of the school and those directly related to the ethical operation of a beauty school and styling salon.
Cosmetology
Our cosmetology program provides you with an education that unleashes your creativity. We educate our students in all facets of the beauty industry, with instruction in cutting and styling techniques, chemical design, braiding and extensions, make-up, nail technology, business development and retail training.
Cosmetology Instructor
The cosmetology instructor program trains potential instructors on developing lesson plans, organizational skills and presentation of appropriate course materials and provides them with the tools necessary for the development of student cosmetologists and manicurists.
Nail Technician
Our Nail Program is designed to instruct the students in all phases of nail technology. We provide you with the skills needed to succeed in manicuring, pedicuring, acrylic and gel nails. Our program is designed to help you achieve the quality of training to meet your goals and dream.

Ever since I was little I knew when I grew up I wanted to be a Cosmetologist. I dreamed of making it to Hollywood and doing all the celebrities hair and make-up, maybe one day I still will. It took me a little longer than expected to get here, because I cared so much about this field, I didn't want to find out I was terrible at it. I'm so glad I took the chance and decided to come, and I'm glad it was here. Thank You to all of you, Teachers, Students, & Staff. I would like to thank everyone at BFBA for everything they have done for me during my time here. Everyone from Mrs. Camp down to the students have taught me something important, whether it be just something as small as how to handle yourself professionally in any circumstance, or the actual teacher curriculum, or just the fact that sometimes all anyone needs is a kind word to keep them moving forward and not giving up.
