I just got one of the best services in quite a while. My hair needed some TLC and I was so confused about where to go because I needed the complete care. I decided to go here. I called and explained and the individual who answered was so accommodating and understanding. Once I got there in no time I was in a chair. A consultation was done then the process began. Jule and the overseeing teacher were just great. I got a relaxer and bob cut which I absolutely love ❤️. Thanks, Jule and the Aveda team for making it a superb experience.

Look elsewhere for you Cosmetology education. Blair & Autumn are predatory and inappropriate with students. They are both condescending and immature. I think poorly of the school having Blair as the director of the program as she smokes in the back with the students and in her words she likes to "call out students when they're messing up". She should want to educate future cosmetologists not put them down and bully them while learning. She has a history of making threats to students. Autumn talks about her dating preferences to students in an inappropriate manner and makes advances on clientele. She also continuously singles out students to harass and too often speaks about her drinking and partying she indulges in after school hours. Due to her age (22) she is unable to be professional and does not have the experience to be an instructor as she struggles in basic haircuts and often removes too much length. The school cost is $21,000 for the program with a kit cost of $3,000 (1200 program) and the Burmax kit cost to the school is $750. They do not inform you during your tour but students are responsible for towels and other janitorial tasks. Students also have to park in a back parking lot that is dangerous, often not lighted and loitering individuals. They also do not tell you that you are responsible for product sales and if you do not sell or push enough product on clients whom you are suppose to be practicing haircuts that you will be reprimanded. Very expensive program with continuous price increase with no improvements to the school, students kit etc. Dismissive unkind staff who's program does not have the student's best interests at the end of the day. Only sees each individual person as a dollar sign.

I am a regular customer of Aveda. Usually they give me very polite stylists. I deal with customers all day so I know about excellent customer service. Please teach your stylists to introduce themselves by stating their name to a client. This one just walked up and started chattering. I had to ask for her name !!!! That is ridiculous. This among other reasons is why she did not receive the $10 tip I was saving. I am also planning to find another hair salon for my future haircuts. Aveda, please do your students a GIANT favor and start stressing common courtesy and manners. These kids today think that it is old fashioned and doesn't matter. It isn't and it does.
