Trenz beauty Academy get zero stars from me most definitely 100% I went on a tour 12/20/24 and the owner of the shop for two locations is not a people person and unfortunately unprofessional. I hate to put Jennifer Payton (owner) down but she shut me down when she was more concerned about a Christmas party than trying to get to know a possible new student. I happy I have other options than her two businesses. I'm not gonna put my job on the line or money into this establishment. She needs to take some business management classes cause what she doing is just not it. Her new students I feel bad for they seem extremely sweet and I can see her breaking each of their personalities and characteristics down with her unprofessionalism. There is not enough instructors is another red flag. There is one instructor that will throw you to the wolfs and try to teach yourself along the way. God forbid if you mess up a relaxer or a color on a client's head without an instructor watching you. Especially if you don't know what you're doing. Most definitely feel bad for the students. I feel like it's some lack of training in freshly new students without an instructor watching them the whole time. For new students that wants to go to this school you don't have to take my word for it. Please make a tour before putting your money on the line. Always go with your first mind if you feel somebody's attention is not great. I very proud of myself I did not fall for this foolishness and put my money on the line. I notice other bad comments that had the same experience I had and truthful. They will make fake reviews to get money out of you and make them look good. Don't ever go to a new place and never make a tour that be a mistake if you don't. Please update old school to modern Day 21st century to both locations. The two styles of your buildings is terrible Inside and outside. I have seen unsanitary tools that very hazardous. Both locations need the state to come out due to hazardous unsanitary conditions. Today, Mr. Anthony took down my crochet hairstyle, then shampooed and started my blow dry. As a new student, I was his first client. He did a great job and was attentive throughout my services. Mr. B took over and did his thang! I have been going to trenz for over 4 years and have seen many changes in staff. Mr. Brandon is a Wonderful addition to Trenz! He possesses exemplary customer service skills and treats the students with the utmost respect. He ensures that each client feels special from the moment they walk through the door. I greatly appreciated his kindness and professionalism. To finish my style Ms. Dominique did an amazing job braiding my hair! Thank you to all the staff that was here today and every day! I would recommend Trenz to anyone that wants the latest and most glamorous styles for both men and women at an affordable price.

Unlike most schools, the cosmetology courses dive into treating Black hair. You'll learn how to cut and color, perform sew-ins and quick weaves, feed-in braids, relax hair, and more. Some evening classes are available.
