TSPA has become my regular haircut spot! I’ve always gotten compliments on the cuts I’ve gotten here - some friends have even commented that I got a better cut than some they’ve paid $100+ for in expensive salons! Just this week I got my hair cut by Kimberly, who was so kind and detail oriented. Having her teacher around, I also got the benefit of learning a bit more about my hair and some blow drying techniques! I’ll definitely be back!

Went here for my basic and master program. I would love to thank TSPA for everything. Patrick. Whitney. The lovely instructors. (Special shout out to Ms. Cori in the Master program!) TSPA is the BEST school in DC. The journey towards licensing is different for EVERYONE. But one thing for sure, it is a safe space for all to learn, no matter who you are or what your skill level is. I could never thank this school more for the change this will make in my life and career. I highly recommend TSPA!

Located in Washington, D.C., The Salon Professional Academy is highly recognized for excellence in education by industry leaders like Redken. On their website, Vera says, "I chose TSPA DC as my Cosmetology program because I loved the atmosphere in the school."
The cosmetology program has in-demand courses taught by talented educators. As a 1,500-hour program, it takes 47 weeks of full-time or 67 weeks of part-time study.
You can also sign up for the 600-hour esthetics program, which takes about 19 weeks of full-time or 33 weeks of part-time study. You'll learn modern makeup application techniques, along with business and marketing skills.
The instructor program helps you shape the skills you need to educate the next generation of beauty students. It takes 1,000 hours or 25 weeks to complete.
TSPA offers excellent financial aid and scholarship opportunities to cut back on your tuition cost. Graduates are sometimes featured on their blog as well.
