I am a licensed manicurist who graduated from The Black Pearl Nail Academy. My experience was wonderful. The instructors thoroughly prepared me for state board and even taught us things that was not on state board but would help us advance our manicurist career. If you want a school that will prepare you for your nail tech career this is the school for you!

Had a great experience! Samantha made sure my nails were done right, she was very neat with her work and I have received many compliments. Khacey had my feet feeling awesome, after a much needed pedicure. Thanks sooo much ladies!

Going to TBPNA was the best decision I’ve ever made. I learned so much, not just about nail care but about the business side of the nail industry. Ms. Caldwell is straight forward and VERY caring. As long as YOU are willing and ready to learn she will pour into you. Ms. Caldwell and her staff of educators provided me with knowledge and opportunities that I wouldn’t have received at any other school. After finishing school I was asked to organize and facilitate a nail art class for kids at a museum. Who can say that? The knowledge and tools that I have gained from this program are PRICELESS. Ms. Caldwell does not just help you to obtain your license, she will help you get your business started, give you insight when needed. She does not just push you out to the wolves in this industry. She guides with a firm hand, but YOU have to want it. She will not baby you, she will definitely get you right on track if need be. I reach out to Ms. Caldwell WHENEVER I have questions TO THIS DAY. I know I can reach out to anyone I’ve met while attending TBPNA. If you want to learn from someone that knows this business like the back of her hand, who isn’t going to gatekeep information, someone that will always be in your corner… TBPNA is the place to go. Disclaimer: this program is not for weak minded people, she will treat you like an adult. Do not expect her to coddle you, the real world is dog eat dog especially the beauty industry. If you can not handle someone making you take accountability, this might not be the right program for you.
