he Beauty Institute Industry-Leading "Pure Education"
We focus our educational efforts on teaching hairdressing techniques in our purest form so that you have a strong foundation in technique and a deep appreciation for the importance of technique. You will receive training in The Beauty Institute's methodology and terminology, learning the entire repertoire of The Beauty Institute classic cuts and chemical techniques in addition to solid preparation to pass the State Boards.
Personal and Professional Development
You will learn the soft skills needed for success behind the chair and beyond in our Spotlight Personal and Professional Development program.
Our interactive and collegial classes provide you ample demonstration, hands-on opportunities, and essential information transmitted in a supportive, energetic environment. Courses move at the appropriate pace to help facilitate your success.
Our instructors choose to teach because they love the profession. Our instructors are talented, seasoned hairdressing professionals with remarkable experience, including teachers who are award-winning hairdressers and The Beauty Institute National Art Team members.
Our academy looks and functions more like a salon than a typical beauty school.
The Lifetime Discount Graduation Gift
Getting a license is only the first step in your education. In order to continually excel in the salon, you'll need to regularly update your skills. As a graduation gift, you'll receive a 50% discount on all advanced training courses offered at one of our Advanced Training Academy locations during the first two years after graduation and 25% on all courses beyond that.
Each year our students create and produce a hair fashion show. The Student Soiree is an opportunity for our students to showcase their education and talents. The Soiree gives you exposure to invited potential salon employers and offers you a chance to show off your new skills to family and friends.
Professional Quality Tools
Our student kits contain top-quality tools and are a major investment in your career. You'll leave the academy already equipped like a pro.
The Beauty Institute produces an annual Photographic Awards contest judged by beauty industry professionals. A special category allows our students incredible national exposure and a chance to begin building a portfolio while still in school.
What began 40 years ago as a single, small salon in London has evolved into an international brand synonymous with fashion, quality, and innovation. This degree of clout, allows our graduates to be recruited by quality salons, and helps our clinic attract salon-quality clients, affording our students with real salon experience while still in school.
We are accredited through the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences (NACCAS). Financial Aid is available to students who qualify. To apply for financial aid or to learn more about our Financial Aid Department, please contact us.
