I had a great time getting highlights. Lilia did an absolutely gorgeous job and blended them in for a lovely lived-in look. I have thick hair so it was a lot of work to tease it bit by bit but she kept the look diffused as I requested and not chunky. The instructor Kenzie showed her knowledge and ability to think on her feet as they had not only to lighten my very dark hair but then correct for old indigo color I had applied a year before at home. Even a pro salon might have been content with damage control after a lightening came out green-ish blue, but Kenzie and Lilia reassured me right away, chose the perfect color with surgical precision, and send me out of the appointment with the gorgeous, fresh, and professional look I was asking and hoping for. On top of that my hair, even a couple weeks later, is smoother, shinier, and healthier feeling than it's been in a long time. Oh, btw, I didn't tell them, but I'm 3 months postpartum, and Lilia treated my hair gently enough that I didn't noticeably lose any :)
