So yesterday, which was Friday May May 24 2024. I took my granddaughter to get a silk press done To her hair. So we got there at 9:30 we were able to sit down on the bench and wait at 10:15 am or 10:30 am They usually start. The young lady didn’t come for my granddaughter at 10:30 am to start the process of combing out my granddaughter’s hair, washing it & getting prepared for the silk press, but in the meantime, the show was a student that was going through some drama, and she just took it to all kinds of levels of loudness, unprofessionalism, and down right hood. I am so glad that she doesn’t have to do jail time I’m so glad that her mama is good and that her son Baby T Is gonna be all right from the time that my granddaughter and I were there I think she only did one person‘s hair besides her own so that makes two. The loudness was so bad that it overtook the noise of the construction Crew outside which was in front & on the side of the beauty school. So my granddaughter and I were there for approximately 6 Hours & some change, the three ladies at the front desk were very friendly, but they don’t always understand technology or something was wrong with all three of them. While talking on the phone wearing my headband that is also bluetooth connected and the youngest one in the green hair she didn’t want to sit at the desk because she thought I was talking to myself instead of asking me or doing like the older lady did that just came from her trip from Florida asked me was I talking to myself or was I talking to them when I had to demonstrate my Headband to them then they seem to understand. But in the end, my granddaughter did not get a silk press and I was not told that upon pay for what I asked for after you sign your name on the registration and you let them know what you want. They don’t tell you that till 10 minutes before the young lady with the braids Had to go to the dentist and she came to inform me that they did it old school so I paid for $40 for what I did not ask for because they did not have the equipment or the chemical in order to do the silk press & didn’t think to say anything . That was the only reason that they didn’t get a tip because we did not get what we asked for and no one felt and the whole six hours to tell us or to tell me the one with the wallet that I wasn’t getting what I paid for. Besides, not getting the silk press, they do offer a whole range of different things for size braids, and fixing your beers and waxings and doing your nails and baths all kinds of stuff. There’s only one bathroom.
