This review is from JANE Fessier, Bruce’s wife. I’m actually blown away by the service I received at this beauty school. I had never been before as I’ve had the same hairdresser for several years who happen to be out of town. The haircut I received is the best style I have had for many years. The student Alexis did a nice job but when her teacher, Miss Denise, stepped in I saw a real pro at work. The way she methodically sectioned my hair off with a fine comb and shears. I could see she had something in mind. I wanted to have movement in my hair so she did a lot of layering. We spent time in selecting the right color that would keep my hair looking natural. Today is the day after my appointment and I could not be more thrilled. My husband and girlfriend say my hair never looked so good. Thank you Miss Denise and Alexis!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ms. Szlvia, my Phase 1 instructor at Milan Institute! She is one of those instructors whose personality can completely change your experience in school. Ms. Szlvia is incredibly charismatic, fun, outgoing, energetic, and encouraging. She has a way of making the classroom feel welcoming and comfortable while still making sure we are learning what we need to know. She can make us laugh and have fun, but when it’s time to learn, she is right there teaching, demonstrating, answering questions, and making sure we understand the why behind what we are doing. One of the things I appreciate most about her is how hands-on she is. She doesn’t just tell us how to perform a service—she demonstrates it, explains it, watches us practice, corrects us when needed, and helps build our confidence. Whether we are learning facials, skin analysis, waxing, product recommendations, contraindications, or new techniques, she brings so much personality and energy into the experience. I especially appreciate the way she teaches waxing. She makes sure we understand proper technique, safety, positioning, and how to become more confident and efficient. She has a way of taking something that can feel intimidating when you’re first learning and making it fun while still teaching us to take the service seriously and perform it professionally. As an adult student starting an entirely new career in esthetics, having an instructor who makes it comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, learn, laugh, and keep trying has meant so much to me. She makes you WANT to come to class and learn. Ms. Szlvia genuinely cares about her students and wants to see us become confident, knowledgeable estheticians—not just pass our exams. I have grown so much during Phase 1, both in my knowledge and in my confidence. Thank you, Ms. Szlvia, for your patience, your big personality, your humor, your encouragement, and for making Phase 1 such a memorable part of my esthetics journey. ❤️ Milan Institute is very fortunate to have an instructor who can teach, motivate, connect with her students, and make learning FUN all at the same time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars for Ms. Szlvia!

Absolutely loved my experience! Letty at the front desk greeted me with a warm smile and was incredibly kind and professional. The student stylist did an excellent job on my haircut I couldn’t be happier with the results. Everyone was welcoming, and the whole experience was relaxing and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality service at a great value!
