Editor's Description
Mid Cities Barber College was first opened in 1988 by Mr. and Mrs. Cano, who have more than 94 years of experience in the hairstyling industry. Since then, the school has helped students gain the skills and knowledge they need to launch their hair-based careers.
As well as offering a 1,000-hour barber stylist program, a 750-hour barber instructor course, and a 500-hour instructor course, the school also offers cosmetologists looking to expand their skills a useful 300-hour cosmetology-to-barber crossover program. It's the ideal pathway for those who already have a good level of training and experience as a cosmetologist but want to expand their skills (and clients) to include barbering.
One satisfied Facebook reviewer says, "MCBC was hands down the best option. Other schools don't even compare. The school has infinite clients; you are sure to get all the practice and training that you need to be a successful barber. Very helpful assisting with technique and state board prepping. Definitely a great decision."
