Michigan College of Beauty, one of the first Pivot Point member schools, was founded in 1965 by Mr. Armand Dagenais. Mr. Armand, a hairstylist and salon owner, dedicated himself to providing the best training possible for individuals entering the beauty industry.
Michigan College of Beauty is licensed by State of Michigan Board of Cosmetology. Our free standing main building was built in 1988, has 11,000 square feet of space, and is designed and equipped for Cosmetology, Manicuring, and Esthetics training. Additional 7,000 square feet of classroom space, located 1/4 mile from the main building, was constructed in 2001. Both facilities are handicap accessible.
Accredited by National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Art & Sciences (NACCAS), financial aid is available to those who qualify.

Michigan College of Beauty is nationally accredited by National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Science (NACCAS), who is recognized by the United States Department of Education as a national accrediting agency for post secondary schools and programs of cosmetology arts and sciences.

Michigan College of Beauty, founded in 1965, has the distinction of being among the first Pivot Point member schools. Created by international, award-winning hair designer Leo Passage, Pivot Point's more than 2,000 member schools emphasize how and why hair design fosters creativity and the ability to adapt.
Students may attend courses during the day or evening, on a full- or part-time basis. Former students rave about the quality of instruction that instills confidence in graduates, experience in its busy salon, highly trained instructors, and caring environment. Its programs include cosmetology (1,500 hours, or 12 months), nail technician (600 hours, or five months), esthetics (600 hours, or 5.5 months), and instructor training (600 hours).
