I am a 40 year old mama, former Kindergarten teacher, turned stay-at-home mom that started my journey of going back to school to be an Esthetician a year ago at Medspa Institute of America. The school environment and culture has been top notch and extremely inviting for all of ages of individuals seeking a career in Esthetics. I have thoroughly enjoyed my education here, appreciate all of the support I've received, and feel confident and prepared for my future career as an AP Esthetician. I have to give a shoutout to a few of my instructors that have made things so rewarding here. The first instructor to highlight is Nealee. She is incredibly supportive, caring, helpful, extremely positive, and full of knowledge. She goes out of her way to make sure her students feel confident and prepared for their new careers. The second instructor that I'd like to recognize is Lena. She has been my AP Esthetics instructor and instantly gives you a sense of calm when learning. She is supportive, thoughtful, relaxed, incredibly intelligent, and easy to connect with. The third instructor that has made a huge difference in my confidence is Sammi. She has supported me while I'm on the clinic floor working with clients. She is always willing share her knowledge, sit in with me during services, and encourages me daily. I highly recommend this school to anyone wanting to pursue a career in Esthetics, whether you are 18 and starting your adult life, or you are like me and starting over at 40.

I am so glad I selected MIOA as my school! The instructors are all personable and helpful. Kassidy was an excellent theory instructor. She helped me feel comfortable and confident performing services. I would recommend this school to all aspiring estheticians!

After making the decision to go back to school and follow my true dream in the beauty industry, I have had the absolute best experience!! Kassidy Merrill has been the best instructor to learn from and made this experience so much fun! She has not only taught me new skills, but has gone above and beyond in making sure I feel comfortable in everything I do!!
