L Makeup Institute

Founded in 2010 for students pursuing careers in the makeup and special makeup effects industries, L Makeup Institute is a recognized leader in makeup artistry education. We provide in-depth, hands-on makeup school education that you can't get at a cosmetology school, attending workshops, or from watching makeup tutorials online. We believe that preparing for a rewarding career as a professional makeup artist requires months of full-time, daily, in-person, hands-on practice and instruction in all styles of makeup artistry.

Employers are looking for technically trained makeup artists that are well versed in beauty, editorial, airbrush, body painting, and special effects makeup. To succeed, MUA's must be able to perform any job needed. At the L Makeup Institute, we prepare students for careers in makeup artistry and special makeup effects industries by offering makeup classes that teach the skills and provide the resources our students need to excel in all areas of this competitive art.

Our programs and makeup classes were designed to prepare students for the real world, equipping them with the technical skills needed to become a well-rounded professional makeup artist. These types of makeup classes and training are only available at an accredited makeup school that offers specialty designed curriculum for the MUA, delivered by knowledgeable and experienced instructors backed with extensive training and practical work experience as makeup artists, and supported through the proper facility design. That's why we offer a student store packed with makeup essentials, a professionally designed photo studio, an expansive student lounge with a work center, and classrooms that are set up carefully for each style of makeup taught. At L Makeup Institute, we understand that the curriculum we teach and makeup classes we offer requires the proper tools, equipment, specialized lighting, and hand-selected proprietary makeup kits, lab supplies, and more, all to provide a seamless, integrated, and comprehensive makeup school education.
