I am a former employee of HCC. This institution is very unprofessional and extremely slow. It took two months after my interview before I heard back from them. I had already been looking for other job opportunities. There are always mandatory trainings for employees about customer service, but HCC has the worst customer service. It is sometimes difficult to get in touch with advisors or financial aid. I feel bad for the students because they are the ones that are made to suffer. I recommend applying to another community college like Lone Star or San Jacinto College. The upside is they have good benefits for fulltime employees.

Not organized. Quick to take get their financial aid money but slow to release loans that students are entitled to. I transferred here from another city and at the end of the semester will not be returning for another semester. Staff is very rude and the student Resolution center staff are very rude and unprofessional! Financial aid department isn't very helpful and no one ever responds to any questions or issues a student have. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND TIME!
