Financial aid department has drained me of my patience. I don’t know why I always get the inexperienced associates. I attend Hinds the entire year of 2024. Unfortunately for 2025 Spring semester I must now pay out of pocket again ( I can’t afford it). I was told by two associates in financial aid that my government loans were concisely filled out and they were being processed. Jokes on me because now I’ve been told that my promissory note wasn’t completed. At the time I was told it was. To add insult to injury the school doesn’t have a payment plan. God bless the two party system for creating laws to prevent citizens from obtaining a decent education.

Everything at this place is terrible. The Campus is awful. The rules are terrible living in a dorm here specifically is a nightmare. One of if not the worst CC in the state. Do not recommend attending there are many higher quality schools

All of the reviews are correct!!!! especially with the financial aid I was told I owed money and did not I had to turn in documents. I transferred over to the Rankin campus thinking it would be better. It is not I am probably going to miss my graduation because they have not informed us of anything and claim they know nothing not even the day of graduation!!!!! This is ridiculous you have to do everything by yourself because they will not take initiative until it is too late!
