Firstly, the staff and teachers at the center have exhibited a lack of professionalism and concern. Despite multiple attempts to seek updates and support, communication has been either unresponsive or unhelpful. This neglect has left us without the necessary support to address my son job search effectively. Furthermore, the interactions with staff members have been discouraging. Rather than receiving constructive advice and encouragement, has encountered indifference and a lack of empathy. This negative experience has not only impacted his job search but also diminished their confidence and motivation. Given these issues, I cannot in good conscience recommend the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center to others. The deficiencies in staff support and the overall lack of commitment to the students' success are significant concerns. It is crucial for any career and technology center to provide reliable and supportive services to its students, and unfortunately, this has not been the case here.

Always loved going to school here, I went here when I was in high school for Administrative Office Specialist, now currently the Medical Assistant adult program. The staff is excellent and I feel that this school prepared me more for life than regular high school. Definitely recommend going to school here, and price is reasonable to go, if you are looking for a fast pace program and be on the job into the next year, this is the place to go. Wouldn't go or trust no other place this much. They also offer clinical certified medical assistant (Ccma) exam through the NHA there, and I highly recommend.

A tremendous School and a tremendous value for starting a first or second career in fields that are in demand in Blair County. Great teaching.
