I came voluntarily to have their current students practice facials, after signing in Jayla meets me in the lobby with a smile and brings me back to where the facials are done. it was a dim room with soft music and I was already relaxed just walking into the room, once I'm situated and ready for the facial jayla asks me about any concerns I have with my skin and what I'm wanting to get out of this treatment after she does a quick assessment to understand the condition of my skin and what products would work well. she calls over her teacher where she lifts her findings, suggests products and checks with her teacher before getting started. when I went in my cheeks were pretty red. I'm naturally a hot person and have a pretty red face. jayla was so professional and letting me know when she would be touching me and if I asked what she was using on my face or what the next step was she would explain. also, if I were to ask what the product was for she would explain why she was using it and how it could help benefit my skin overall. she was kind, professional, welcoming and she really sounded like she knew what she was talking about. at the end of this facial I was so relaxed. I almost fell asleep and my skin looked so much better. it had a glow that wasn't there before the redness had gone. and, ultimately it just looked like life was brought back into my skin. My experience definitely reflects the five stars I am giving this school the teachers are teaching these students well and the students seem to be excited about what they're learning. I would like to give one more shout out to jayla as she was amazing and made the experience everything it needed to be. I wasn't worried And if I had any questions she would explain happily and even educate me a little bit on what the ingredients are in a product and why it would benefit my skin.

Plus you'll apply your skills on your mannequins using your professional student kit. As part of your new student kit you will receive the Career Success Tablet. Your textbooks and curriculum are downloaded onto your tablet. As you progress through your training, you'll have the confidence to work in a student salon environment with guests.
