The only reason for a four-star review is I believe there is always room for improvement for any success to be lasting. Empire Lebanon has a spacious, open floor plan design. If you're on the spectrum, or for any other reason don't feel comfortable in environments where personal space tight, this is a great place! The students are mostly friendly and supportive of one another. My instructor, Ms. Heather is thorough, fair, organized, and pays attention to detail. I love learning theory, as well as gaining hands-on experience. I appreciate that she presents our topics in different ways to make sure every student gets the education they deserve, no matter their particular learning style. I genuinely feel she wants me to succeed, and would do anything reasonable to assure I had the best foundation!

I started at Empire Beauty School in September and so far i’ve had a great experience here. Ms. Kris made the whole enrollment process so easy. She was very helpful when I had questions about my financial aid. My educator is Ms. Heather. She pushes us to make sure we are here everyday and ready to go, which is part of the reason I am motivated to be here everyday. I have learned a lot of new things from Ms. Heather. She mixes in a lot of fun challenges throughout the curriculum, which makes the learning process more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Empire Beauty School to anyone that is thinking about cosmetology school!

Mrs. Heather is a great teacher. She motivates the classroom to come in every day and work hard. She treats everyone with respect and she makes sure to ask if her students are comfortable in any situation or lesson taught. I have ran into many good teachers before but she has been by far the most genuine and comfortable learning with. She’s full of knowledge and she answers questions for the classroom and never makes anyone feel like they’re a less of anyone. Her techniques taught to us are great techniques that I would even continue to use for the rest of my career. She is the reason I would be coming back for my teaching license! The confidence she helps her classroom build is more than appreciated. Also, Mrs Kris does an AMAZING job with making sure we are on top of enrollment and any paper work need to continue our education here at empire!

Plus you'll apply your skills on your mannequins using your professional student kit. As part of your new student kit you will receive the Career Success Tablet. Your textbooks and curriculum are downloaded onto your tablet. As you progress through your training, you'll have the confidence to work in a student salon environment with guests.
