Check in was cordial and easy. Students are very pleasant. I've been here twice, first time I got home and realized that the haircut had been cut more than I asked for length but not layered like I wanted so I went back to get it fixed and again my hair was not layered to the extent I wanted. I also had to pay for the fix. I found it a bit hard to check out the end results by their use of hand mirrors so I probably should have figured out a better way to check the haircut more thoroughly before leaving. My responsibility I would say was to give better feedback beyond my initial request and while still in the chair. Both times they were probably erring on the side of caution-they are students, and it's obviously easier to do the minimum and go from there, so in the end I would strongly suggest bringing in a photo of exactly what you would like done and stay until it's correct. Meanwhile I feel like I should try one more time to have them fully finish the haircut.

I've came into Empire as a walk-in and was seen within minutes. Not only that but I've also met a good student : Vanessa willing to learn the clippers and me leaving with a good cut. I now come back every week with Vanessa. Haveing good laughs and feels comfortable.
