had a 9AM haircut appointment at the Duvall's School of Cosmetology. The school is very clean, well organized and well maintained. I was greeted by the lady working at the register and asked what time my appointment was. I was assigned to Ms. Samara and led to her work station. Ms. Samatra, Cosmetology student, a sweet young lady, who is all business and appeared to me some what shy and timid. She had a sweet smile and very polite. Her instructor was Ms. Hillary, Cosmetology Instructor, really friendly, kind smile, and very polite. Ms. Samara, asked me how I wanted my haircut alongside her instructor. Once I told her how I wanted my haircut she looked to Ms. Hillary, who gave a quick demonstration to Ms. Samara, in how to begin my haircut. Ms. Samara, to her time cutting my hair and if she had a question, she would look to her instructor for instructions. For a student, Ms. Samara, did an outstanding job and I was well pleased with my haircut. I told her that she should be proud of her work. My haircut speaks to the outstanding job she did. I apologize to Duvall's School of Cosmetology, because try as I might I could never get her qr code to work.

Byanca is one of the biggest reasons I fell in love with being an esthetician. When I attended Duvall, she taught me so much — not just about technique, but about confidence, professionalism, and passion for the field. Everyone loved her. Even to this day, she continues to guide me through the esthetics world. Whenever I need help or advice, she’s always there. I still remember my very first facial — I was nervous, but Byanca stood right beside me in the spa, encouraging me every step of the way. I truly can’t thank her enough. She always took time with each student, made learning fun, and created an environment where we all felt supported and inspired. Thank you, Byanca, for being such an amazing mentor and role model.
