As a first semester transfer from Miami dade college, Daytona State has been nothing less of exceptional. Whenever I have a question or need help student center is always there for assistance. Honorable mention to Dr. Tata (microbiology) which she was an amazing teacher for a higher-level course I truly hope she never stops teaching.

Alexis Hardy has been an exceptional Academic Advisor at Daytona State College. From the very beginning, she has been attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly proactive in guiding me through the process. She asks the questions I didn't even know I needed to ask, making sure nothing slips through the cracks. What truly sets her apart is that while students can work with any admissions advisor, I will always go out of my way to work with her. As new adult student, stepping into college can feel overwhelming, but her guidance, reassurance, and genuine enthusiasm for my success made all the difference. She doesn't just do her job; Alexis elevates the entire experience. I'm beyond grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone navigating their college journey!

Wonderful campus. Amazing additions. Pleasant, helpful staff. Very heavily used campus...almost couldn't find a parking spot. Make sure to check out the Southeast Museum of Photography!
