I recently just graduated from the barber program:) I just want to start of by saying thank you to mr. George my barber teacher ! He helped me so much throughout my whole course. He always made sure everyone in the classroom was good and if we needed support he will be there for us ! He would always go above and beyond for us ! Thanks to him we would have barber battle competitions . I learned a lot from Mr. George great amazing talented teacher ! I’m so thankful and and lucky to have had him as my barber teacher , best teacher ever ! So if you want to join the barber program DO IT ! What are you waiting for ?!! I recently just graduated! Huge thank you to Miss.Michelle my esthetics instructor. She’s definitely helped me so much throughout my whole course. From day one, it was clear that she's not only incredibly knowledgeable but also deeply passionate and committed about esthetics. She has a way of explaining certain things which made my learning experience and other so much easier and fun at the same time. She’s always making sure her students come first. Unlike others, she's always present, always available, and always taking and willing to go that extra mile to make sure we grasp onto what she’s teaching us. Upon completion of your program at Cosmetology & Spa Academy, you should be prepared to take the Illinois state board exam. Once you pass your exam, you can be on your way into the exciting world of beauty. We also provide resume building assistance, keep an active job board, write letters of recommendation, host job fairs and provide financial aid for those who qualify.
Did we mention our institute has some added perks? Students are offered free parking, student lounges with dispensaries, student lockers and a free 1-inch tablet. Also, undergraduates who have reached 6 hours may receive one free or discounted beauty salon service per week!
