Well I was a little nervous going to a school for a haircut but my stylist was awesome! She just rocked! I'm a senior citizen, and many times you get left behind but this stylist - Ali Wilbanks - was with me from beginning to end making sure not only that I was pleased with the haircut but physically comfortable and at ease the whole time! She has got to be one of the sweetest girls out there. When it came to choosing a haircut she brought her instructor over to meet me and the three of us discussed what would work best for me, and then Ally began styling my hair. She seemed to be poised and confident as she was cutting and drying and I loved the end result. In today's world where everything is rushed And everyone gets pushed through it was an absolute pleasure to have someone provide a service for me with my comfort and ease a priority.

Hello my Name is Candy and I had the pleasure of getting my hair done at this school by Nicole Free. I was getting me hair done for my 50th birthday. Nichole did an amazing job and spent hours to make sure everything was perfect. I was so pleased that I will be returning to get touch ups. Nicole thank you so much for an amazing job everyone loves my hair. So the first picture is a before. Very dark brown with lots of gray. Next four pictures are right after and then a few weeks after. Upon completion of your program at Cosmetology & Spa Academy, you should be prepared to take the Illinois state board exam. Once you pass your exam, you can be on your way into the exciting world of beauty. We also provide resume building assistance, keep an active job board, write letters of recommendation, host job fairs and provide financial aid for those who qualify.
