My 5-star experience at this institute is all owed to people like Miss Jackill Tyson, Miss Nancy Simmons and Miss Arianna Figueroa. They create such a loving and nurturing environment that encourages growth, belief in oneself and success. These women have encouraged me to be my best and have had my back every step of the way. They put love into their work and in everything they do. As long as they are here at Cortiva, Cortiva will always have lots of value to offer to their students.

I wanted to share my experience at Cortiva Institute, where I trained to become a medical esthetician. Overall, I had a really good time, and a lot of that was thanks to the amazing educators, especially Mrs. Maricel. She was incredible! Her deep knowledge of skin and her talent for teaching really helped me grow and feel confident in my skills. I can’t thank her enough for everything she taught me. The faculty when I was there were also super supportive. I have to give a shout-out to Career Services, and particularly Ariana Figueroa. She was a fantastic resource and really helped me figure out my path after graduation. Her support made a huge difference. That said, there were some downsides. I noticed a lot of stress among other students and staff because of the constant changes in the faculty. Teachers and staff seemed to come and go pretty quickly, sometimes for understandable reasons, but other times without any explanation. This lack of stability was tough on everyone. One big example was the director, Jorge Morales. He was amazing and made a huge positive impact on the school. But then he was let go suddenly, with no explanation and no one to fill his shoes. It was a big blow to the students and staff. In the end, I’m happy with my time at Cortiva, but I think the school could be so much better if they fixed these stability issues. They have the potential to be a five-star school if they can keep a consistent team in place.

I was in massage therapy with the lovely Ms.Wendy as my instructor and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better! She was so supportive, kind, and patient. Wouldn’t have passed the Mblex without her! She’s amazing. The massage department in general is great, the people and the environment. 👍🏽
