I graduated from the Aveda Institute in 2024 in Esthetics, and I chose Aveda because of its holistic approach to beauty and wellness. From the start, I knew that alignment was important to me. Like any school, there are ups and downs. You can choose to let it keep you back, or push forward. Like any trade or program, what you get out of it depends on the effort you put in — and having supportive leadership makes all the difference. During my time at Aveda, Danielle Little was my main esthetics instructor, and her kindness and dedication to her students were truly unmatched. She supported our class like family. Natalie was also wonderful and consistently advocated for students throughout my time there. Mary Grace, the Director of Education, was the first instructor I met and helped set the tone for my learning experience. Even though she taught cosmetology, she regularly checked in on me during school and after graduation — she even stopped by to support me at an event near the school, which meant so much. Since graduating, I’ve opened my own wellness spa, and I truly believe the foundation I received at Aveda helped make that possible. I’m very grateful for the education and support I received.
