This place is awesome! My hair was a 2 day affair because I went from my very dark natural color to platinum blonde and also got a cut. The first day I had Charlotte and she did an amazing job on my cut and color. She was pretty quick, too, considering the educational environment that naturally adds time to the service. She got my hair very light and evenly lifted, which was a great place to leave off for the other student, Iza, I had the following day. Iza did great!! She was very invested in the whole process and absorbed everything her teacher, Kenneth, was helping her learn. He jumped in for the last part of my processing and shared all kinds of pro insights about the products and his experience. The 3 of us had some delightful conversation, making the experience even more fun. The educators really know their stuff and are very hands on. I asked a lot of questions during my appointments because I’m just a curious person, and the students and educators gave really easy to understand explanations, and informed me how to maintain my look. When the students can easily explain what they’re doing, you know they are learning from top notch educators. The front desk people are very nice and professional as well. The facility is a clean, professional atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend. I will be back for my root touch up.

I love Aveda Institute in San Francisco. I have been going there for facials, which are superb. I feel so pampered & love the products. The students are very well trained. On my last visit (just a few days ago), my student Chloe was so attentive and sensitive to my needs that I will definitely request her for my next appointment. Try the natural plant peel and be prepared to get compliments about your glowing skin. Thank you Chloe and thank you for the wonderful mini massage)!
