the directors work very hard to continually make the campus better I've been attending Carrington College for a while now, and while no school is perfect, I...

Hello! I am a first termer for MA, 18 Y/O student here at Carrington.
A couple things regarding the bad reviews for the school i would like to state. it is a colleges job to sell you on their school. if they are high profit (which they are), they are definitely going to try harder. If you dont want to go because they dont have the right accreditation, or theyre too expensive, communicate that and move on with your life, no ones forcing you to go here. it is simply your own fault for not researching more on this school. the people here that tell you to give 5 stars are not forcing you. they’re encouraging you. we are adults and its your job to show up to class or communicate that you’re not. school is going to be hard. you WILL have to study, research, study more, and repeat and if you don’t thats on you. being a MA, dental assistant, veterinarian or even a nurse might not give you the wages you want but thats not their fault, they don’t change the wages. typically these positions are for starters then you move up and along. i can tell that they have definitely improved overtime and take these reviews seriously. all in all, there will always be downsides, pros and cons to different schools.
in short, id like to share my experience. i have explored different schools across the board. PCC, Concorde, Charter, GCU, WSU, Pima, Gateway, etc. and Carrington is the only one that was willing to take me as a 17 year old in high school, and the most professional. i met everyone on my tour there and just felt like i belonged. plus, this new campus is so nice. Nadea, Mrs. G, Taylor, Jason, i mean everyone is so supportive amazing and guiding. personally i think you get what you pay for. they have tutoring and mental health services, Friday’s for labs, the support, it really pays off compared to other colleges. they really try their best to cram everything in 6-9 months without making it super confusing. its a short time to learn so much!
trust me, i know the struggle. working 2 jobs, doing fast paced college as a fresh high school graduate isn’t easy! but not impossible. your future awaits you here, this is on you so make it happen!! just make sure you know what you’re getting into.

They charge you $18k for a dental assisting program when they aren’t even CODA accredited. Least you guys can do is pay for a students tests required to obtain necessary certification. They don’t even mention that they aren’t accredited so for someone who is just starting their path to become an assistant and isn’t aware of CODA gets scammed. Go to PCC or Concorde if you’re going to drop all this money. Ridiculous. Not only that they sent me a random piece of mail saying I owed 1,400 and didn’t explain what for.
