My good friend Brittany Huber has been practicing nails for a while (self-taught), so when I heard she was going to school here I just had to stop in when I was visiting from out of state. SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ In my most unbiased opinion, this is by far my favorite set I've ever gotten. Her keen eye for colors and patterns, as well as attention to detail, were very impressive. I think part of my new "vacation routine" when visiting Tampa will have to include getting a full set done by Brittany. Also, the facility was super clean and bright, and everyone was so nice. The music was a vibe. I had a wonderful experience overall! Honestly better than at any nail salon I've ever been to as far as hospitality and cleanliness.

One of the reasons is that few schools in this country teach the program because the majority of students opt for Cosmetology. This leaves a void in the field of Barbering which in turn opens the door for a lucrative career as a Barber Stylist.

Here, at Artistic Nails and Beauty Academy, the Barber Styling License requires 1200 hours of training. You will become proficient at cutting, styling, beard and mustache trim, clipper cuts and "trend" design among the many other specialized attributes that separate the barber from the cosmetologist. It is an important distinction and of one you can be proud. Employment opportunities are excellent. Barber Stylist can be found working in exclusive shops, salon and day spas, as manufacturer's representatives, platform artists and as instructors and free-lance artists demonstrating new technology for various companies. Please call for further information and/or a tour of the school.
