Sarah Mattie is the Lead Editor for Beauty Schools Directory. A former teacher, she joined the team with a passion for helping people find their paths through school and beyond. She also loves to ensure future beauty students are aware of the field's "behind-the-scenes" aspects, like mental health, diversity, law, and finances. After all, you can't know which career is right for you until you look behind that curtain!

In addition to researching, writing, and editing, Sarah enjoys working closely with our fantastic team of freelancers. She's exceedingly proud that Beauty Schools Directory is researched, written, and edited by humans, not AI.

When she's not working, Sarah often tries to improve her makeup skills (to varying degrees of success). She can also be found traveling, doing home repairs, or caring for the many domesticated and wild creatures in and around her house.
