So appreciative of Shear Excellence Team. Without this school I honestly wouldn’t have been able to come and attend Cosmetology School. Shout out to my teachers for always pushing and encouraging me even when I’m frustrated. Oh and as a student you’re only going to find this atmosphere here, no other school in the area can give you what they have created here.

I just called there asking Asking to see if they Have a student who knows how to clip ends. I spoke to a cosmetology teacher Name Ruth or Rose I asked her if they know the difference between cutting hair and clipping split ends. She would not give me an answer. I asked her twice as to if she had a student, that was my question. Do you have a student right now? She just told me I need to come there and figure it out for myself. And then she hung up so I Ihave never been there to begin with. And n ow I know not to ever go there. You're attitude just killed. Money that was coming into your school's pocket and you People I said it's the attitude she's gonna have from you. Ask a simple question on the phone. Do not go there, do not waste your time. Do not waste your money, do not waste your gas. You would be sadly disappointed

This school needs to be investigated for fraud. There are channels to be able to cancel your loans when a school is defrauding their students. FIGHT YOUR LOAN AND IF YOURE THINKING ABOUT COMING HERE, DONT. UPDATE: this school most CERTAINLY does not follow guidelines, there are countless other reviews on here about how this school is a fraud and scam. THIS SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE INVESTIGATED THOROUGHLY!

Shear Excellence Hair Academy is an Accredited institution that offers multiple programs that cater towards the fashion industry. We offer Barber Hair Design, Cosmetology, Nail Technician, Facial Specialist, and Full Specialist Programs. Our Programs are taught by qualified and passionate Instructors who guide you through the program by providing you with the tools you'll need to be successful. We have a strong Admissions team and provide Financial Aid for those who qualify for some of our programs. Invest in yourself today by reaching out to our Tampa or Valrico locations. Spanish and English courses available for all programs.
Programs Offered
All programs require a $50 Application Fee and $100 Registration Fee.
Barber Hair Design, Cosmetology, and Full Specialist offer Financial Aid for those who qualify. Financial Aid is not offered for the Nail Technician and Facial Specialist programs.

The school's 1,200-hour licensed cosmetology program has produced graduates for more than 20 years, focusing not only on hair care, skincare, and nails but also chemistry, sanitation, and law. In addition, the school offers facial, barbering, full specialist, and nail technology programs.
