I took my 14 yr old daughter here on Friday and she loves her haircut! Her stylist was Nyllah and she was great! My daughter said she seemed a bit nervous, but she did great! We felt bad because we had to leave to get to somewhere else before her hair was fully blowdried. My daughter likes her so much, she wanted me to leave a review so others would know!

I needed to get my roots touched up and went to Aveda. My stylist was a young woman named Sky. I noticed she seemed a little nervous at first, but at the end, she did an excellent job. I have a lot of hair, and I know it can often be challenging to work with, but Sky took her time, following the instructions of her educator, and making sure to fix anything that wasn't quite right. Sky, thank you so much for your patience and effort in achieving a great result on my root touch-up without affecting my highlights. I'm happy with my hair color. Great job! 💖💖

I had an amazing experience at the Aveda Institute and felt compelled to leave a detailed review because of how welcomed, respected, and cared for I felt from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, Alex at the customer service desk set the tone for the entire visit. She was extremely friendly, warm, and professional, making me feel comfortable right away. First impressions matter, and Alex truly represents the Aveda brand with excellence. As a woman with 4C natural textured hair, I am always cautious when booking beauty services, especially in educational settings. My stylist, Taylor, was upfront and honest about the fact that she had not previously worked with my hair texture and that transparency alone earned my trust. What truly stood out was her willingness to learn, her confidence paired with humility, and the fact that she never treated me any differently because of my hair type. Taylor listened attentively as I shared tips and insight on how my hair is best cared for, and she applied that information with intention and respect. She also took coaching exceptionally well from the instructor and implemented feedback in real time. The collaboration between stylist, instructor, and client made the experience feel empowering rather than intimidating. Taylor did a phenomenal job, and I truly believe she is part of a new generation of stylists who are helping bridge the gap in the hair community, especially when it comes to stylists of different races learning how to properly care for and style all hair textures. That effort and openness matter more than people realize. I also want to give high praise to Christian, the instructor, who was absolutely outstanding. He maintained a positive, uplifting attitude throughout the service, was attentive to all guests receiving services, and provided feedback to students in a way that was encouraging yet effective. You could clearly see that his guidance produced real, visible results in the students’ work. Overall, my experience at the Aveda Institute exceeded my expectations. From customer service to instruction to execution, I felt seen, valued, and respected. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone, especially those with natural or textured hair who may feel hesitant. This visit reaffirmed that inclusive, high quality beauty care is possible when people are willing to listen, learn, and collaborate.
